Thank you Hajin for this piece. It really draws an important distinction between fiction and reality when it comes to excelling at something.

I agree with the points you made here. The show was excellent and stylish, but in real life, you'd have to make a great commitment to become world-class at something. I guess there are naturally gifted people who have a leg up, but I always admire people who can commit years of their lives to an endeavor. (Coz...uhm, read my name.)
