Oh boy, this reads like a man who left his wife and kids to live with his mistress...only to realize it was the novelty and the rush of the affair that charmed him.

Thank you for the honesty David. Reading this puts things in perspective. Like why the people who live in the most "'romantic" and "bucketlist" places treat it so normally. It also reminded me of friends who started a coffeeshop, and another who put up a restaurant...only to realize it was not the shiny dream they built up in their heads.

Reality always catches up...But one can choose to always see the beauty...warts and all.
