Twist endings can add an extra layer of excitement and surprise to a film, and can completely change the way that the story is perceived. Whether it’s a character’s true identity being revealed, the true nature of the world they live in, or the revelation of a long-held secret, twist endings can leave a lasting impression on the viewer.

These are just a few examples:

1. “The Sixth Sense”

A child psychologist attempts to help a young boy who claims to see dead people, but ultimately discovers that he is himself deceased.

2. “The Usual Suspects”

A group of criminals is brought in for questioning after a heist goes wrong, and it is revealed that one of them is the mastermind behind the crime.

A series of elaborate death traps are set up by a serial killer, but it is revealed that the main character is the mastermind behind the traps.
